A uk Children's Charity Working to enhance the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable children aged 4-18 Through the game of tennis

Our Programmes

We use tennis to tackle socio-cultural challenges and support the whole community. Through free school coaching, leadership programmes for teens, inclusive sessions for children with disabilities, our work goes beyond sport. By bringing people together on court, we build confidence, break down barriers, and open doors for every child to thrive, no matter their background.

Together, we’ve found our programmes successful in tackling:

Our Impact

In 2025, Give It Your Max proudly celebrates 20 years of changing young lives through tennis. Since our first sessions in 2005, we’ve steadily grown into a nationwide network of programmes that reach children, families, and schools in some of the UK’s most disadvantaged communities.

Over two decades, we’ve seen first-hand how tennis can do so much more than teach a sport – it can inspire confidence, foster independence, build friendships, and break down barriers.

Unloved & Unwanted

Give It Your Max is on a mission to recycle and rehome unloved and unwanted tennis rackets so that they can be offered to children from disadvantaged backgrounds. We clean up unwanted tennis rackets, re-grip and re-string them before redistributing them to children participating in our programmes in primary schools in deprived areas.
