FUNDRAISING EVENTS
Since September 2005, the charity has benefited from monies raised at a series of Dinners, a Race evening, two Golf Days and a Charity Ball held at the Trocadero, Piccadilly in 2006 run jointly for ‘GIYM’ and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
In December 2006, ‘GIYM’ was the nominated charity at the Blackrock Masters Tennis at the Royal Albert Hall.
In June 2007, ‘GIYM’ was one of two nominated charities for the sale of returned tickets at the Artois Championships at Queen’s Club.
It has been a particular feature of the charity that so many friends of Max and his two brothers have ridden hundreds of miles on sponsored bike rides and run many marathons to raise considerable sums of money.
FUTURE EVENTS
19th JUNE 2008 - Golf Day
Royal Wimbledon Golf Club has kindly offered use of the course for the day. A round of golf with a ‘shotgun’ start will be followed by a lunch and an auction of a host of lavish items. A full compliment of 80 players is expected to participate.
