Give It Your Max has been closely following advice from the government and the LTA on the developing Coronavirus (COVID -19) situation. In line with this advice all Give It Your Max programmes are currently suspended until further notice.
Give It Your Max staff continue to work remotely from home and remain contactable via telephone and email. For any concerns you may have surrounding this crisis and your Give It Your Max programme please contact us as normal.
This is a challenging and unsettling time and we are committed to offering what support we can to ensure that children are able to still remain active. We understand the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle for good physical and mental health. In light of the crisis and the importance of staying at home, Give It Your Max has produced a series of videos showing a number of exercises that parents can do with their children. The first set of exercises will be published today and we will add to this over the coming weeks. Please check our website and social media for these skills and drills which can be done from home and don’t require a tennis racket or any tennis specific equipment.
With regards to any planned fundraising events for 2020 we will continue to closely monitor the situation and make postponements and cancellations as required. Like so many charities, our ability to raise funds at this time will be impacted and should you wish to support our work and make a donation please follow the ‘donate’ link on our website.
Give It Your Max remains committed to enhancing the lives of disadvantaged children through the game of tennis and we look forward to getting all of our programmes back up and running when it is safe to do so.
