On Wednesday 10th July 2019 Give It Your Max ran an inclusive tennis open session for three local primary schools at Barnet Burnt Oak Leisure Centre. Tennis is a sport which lends itself to integration and inclusion and we feel anyone with a disability can participate in tennis either in its full format or when adapted. The open session provided local children with the opportunity to learn new skills, make new friends and have fun in a safe and friendly environment.
We are delighted to welcome Nigel Hurst-Brown as a trustee of Give It Your Max. His appointment comes after James Acheson Gray decided to step down. James acted as a trustee for 6 years and contributed considerably to the charity with his wealth of experience and advice. We would like to thank James for all of his hard work and wish him the best of luck with his future endeavours and his new business venture.
